We, Barbara and Andreas Reinisch, live our dream. Every day. We couldn’t imagine anything better than sharing the Golden Hill Chalets, our personal Garden of Eden, this little piece of a perfect world, our spiritual home with you. But let’s start from the beginning, after all, we want to introduce ourselves personally to you.

I have a passion for so many topics: Holistic economic concepts for people and nature, sustainable ideas for the future and a healthy lifestyle have been with me for years. As a successful entrepreneur, as sustainability consultant as well as co-initiator of TRIGOS-Austria’s award for responsible business and other future initiatives. Rethinking things. That is what I like to do for a living. How about it: Maybe you’d like to exchange ideas over a good glass of wine by the fire? Or whilst visiting the vineyards together?

Brilliant aesthetics – sustainable thinking

The basic building structure has been preserved
Sustainable construction with solid wood.
Energy self-sufficient premium chalet with pool, sauna, whirlpool
Geothermal heat, air source heat, solar and photovoltaics
With the 50 kWp solar power system, we generate almost half of our own electricity needs ourselves and for the rest, we purchase natural electricity.
The energy for the infinity pool at the loft is supplied by an air-source heat pump and the building’s own PV system.
Two natural swimming ponds and a biotope
Upcycled containers are sauna and fitness cubes.
We use a well and collect rain water.
Regional WIFI provider “Steirerlan”
Dyson Airblade with HEPA filter – 85% less CO2 than paper towels
Fitness cube with electricity-neutral fitness equipment
Regional spa brands: Vinoble and Soavo natural cosmetics
2 Tesla stations, 1 BMW wall box, 1 Porsche charging station,

Sustainable Responsibility

It is simply in our nature: Mother Earth and everything she inhabits is close to our hearts. That is why we want to make our contribution to a future worth living in and take responsibility as hosts. Wherever possible, we rely on climate-neutral technologies, sustainable business and a resource-conserving approach to the treasures of our southern Styrian nature. Under the motto: For the planet. For all of us.

CSR cooperation with benefits for children in need, guests, companies, image and region

Two exceptional charity events took place in 2023 and 2024 for the SOS Children’s Village together with the initiator of “Chefs Cook for Children”, Renate Zierler. No less than 5 celebrity chefs cooked for a good cause in 2023. In 2024 there were even 7 celebrity chefs who enchanted the guests with their culinary delights. Through auctions, we achieved large donations. A successful combination of charity and CSR cooperation and exclusive networking between entrepreneurs.

This day was all about the good cause! And we are incredibly grateful and happy that we raised a whopping €38,300 in donations. Top chefs Didi Dorner, Didi Maier, Robert Letz, Marco Simonis, and Jürgen Vigne won the hearts of more than just culinary connoisseurs.

A Hideaway for Adults

As our hideaway does not have child-friendly facilities and our offer is aimed at adults, we only recommend a holiday with us for children over the age of 13. We are happy to make exceptions when booking the entire complex or if the booking situation allows.
