Sausal Wine Route
Discover the Sausal Wine Route and the many wine taverns with all their culinary delights. Here in the Sausal, wine sets the pace. The Sausal Wine Road winds through the steepest vineyards in Styria. All the good wines are connected with the history of the earth, as the soil here is shaped by slate and primary rock that is around 60 million years old. This can be felt in the high quality of the Sausal grape juices. Like the Riesling, for example, which thrives here in unique quality.
